Google Analytics adds Reddit Ads integration, lead gen tools

Google Analytics announced two major updates:

  • A new integration with Reddit Ads to import cost data.
  • Default reports and audience templates tailored for lead generation marketers.

Details. Reddit Ads cost import: Advertisers can now automatically import cost data from Reddit Ads into Google Analytics, enabling unified reporting and easier performance comparison across platforms.

New lead generation reports:

  • Lead Acquisition Report tracks the first touchpoint when a potential lead visits your site or app.
  • Lead Disqualification and Loss Report identifies why prospects dropped off before converting.

Eight new lead gen audience templates support full-funnel targeting:

  • Qualified leads: Retarget users likely to convert.
  • Converted leads: Exclude existing customers from prospecting.
  • New leads: Nurture fresh contacts toward conversion.

Implementation. To enable these features, advertisers must use the recommended lead gen event schema in Google Analytics via Event Data Import or Measurement Protocol.
